Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she relocated to the United States. Her fame was boosted by her appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. She was also a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was initially selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school after her sophomore year. She later obtained a GED and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
